The Corre was based on a Renault design as witnessed by the radiator being behind the engine and the vehicle having the Renault coal scuttle style bonnet.
This 1905 Veteran car had not long completed the 2014 London-Brighton run when we 3D laser scanned it.
The resulting data, known as a point cloud, had over 6,000,000 points. The data has since been post-processed and, for example, can now be used for measuring between defined points, like the wheelbase shown here, and sectioned for further investigation or analysis.
More about the car and the scanning process and uses will be published shortly.
