Two wheeled Land Speed Record attempt

The key part of this project was knowing the right people. Having been approached to help this UK attempt on the two wheeled land speed record in 2014, it was apparent that the project would have overwhelmed our resources. However we knew a team that might be able to help and after a meeting, the Motorsport Department of the University of Derby agreed to assist.

The project is on track to go to Bonneville in 2014 and now has a driver: the 2004 World Superbike Championship and 2007 World Superbike Champion, James Toseland.

As well as facilitating the meet up between all interested parties, 3D Engineers has also 3D laser scanned the bike chassis and provided valuable advice to the students working on this project.

Further updates to follow but in the meantime some recent press is here and here.
